Chocolate can be melted in 2 different ways
- With a Microwave
Break the chocolate up into pieces and put them in a bowl that wont get hot when used in a microwave
Place the bowl in the microwave and use the lowest setting and start melting the chocolate
Bring it out every 20 secs and stir. Make sure u stir the sides well to prevent burning of the chocolate
Melting chocolate will retain its shape so do not be deceived, make sure u stir it till it becomes liquid
- With a double Burner
Break the chocolate into pieces and put them in the dry bowl or pot for your double burner (chocolate doesn’t like water!)
Put water in the second pot and bring it to a boil.
Place the pot/bowl containing the chocolate on the second pot containing boiling water (make sure ur pot/bowl can sit in the water)
Stir the chocolate every 10 secs regardless of the shape and do this until its liquid’
